Prescription lenses · Lucyd & Reebok
Can you get Lucyd or Reebok smart glasses with your prescription?
Yes, for most frames: Lucyd cuts the lenses in its own lab. Every line's official range in one table, as of 26 Oct 2026. Reebok smart glasses are made and sold by Lucyd.

The short answer
As of 26 Oct 2026 · Last checked 2026-10-26 · Lucyd isn't a SpecsMap affiliate: every lucyd.co link here is a plain link.
- Yes, for most frames, and Lucyd's own lab cuts the lenses. "You can add prescription lenses to most Lucyd frames. Our lab cuts custom lenses for single vision, progressives, bifocals, and readers"[2]. The store calls the in-house lab ITFIT[3].
- Strongest prescriptions: Reebok Optical (-8 to +6) or Armor Vantage (any Rx, lab verifies above -10). Lyte takes SPH -3 to +8 on most frames; Armor -2 to +8; Armor Slim -2 to +6[2].
- Progressives and bifocals on Lyte, Armor, Armor Slim, Armor Vantage and Reebok Optical. No separate trifocal; the lab handles complex prescriptions case by case[3].
- Timing: up to 10 business days. Single vision usually about 5; progressives and Lucyd Shift/Blueshift usually the full 10; high-index or very high power can take longer[2].
- Frame prices (US, lucyd.co, 26 Oct 2026): Reebok Optical $249[4]; Armor, Armor Slim and Armor Vantage $149[5]; Lyte from $99 (Moonrise $99; Millennia $119 on sale from $149)[4]; Reebok Nitrous $149[9]. Prescription lenses are extra and priced at checkout. Lucyd only publishes partial lens pricing (Armor custom lenses about $25 more than Lyte's; Lucyd Shift non-Rx about $70; Blueshift non-Rx about $145)[2], so we don't show an all-in price.
- FSA/HSA: in Lucyd's words, "A Lucyd frame with prescription lenses qualifies as an FSA/HSA-eligible purchase"[3].
- Returns: custom lenses are non-refundable "in all cases"; Lucyd remakes free if it made the error[2]. US frames have 7-day returns[4].
- No camera on any line here. Reebok Optical: "None — by design"[1]; Lyte: "None, by design"[1].
Prescription range by Lucyd line
Lucyd's own figures, strongest range first. Lucyd doesn't say whether ranges are sphere-only or total power, and publishes no cylinder limit.

* Lucyd's help pages and the visible lucyd.co Armor page say SPH -2 to +8, but the store's product description text still says "SPH between -3 and +8"[5]. We show the narrower -2. The same description says Nitrous takes "SPH -6 to +8"; Lucyd's help pages give no Nitrous range, so we don't list it as official. Checked 26 Oct 2026.
Which Lucyd frame fits my prescription?
- Strongly short-sighted (beyond -3): Reebok Optical (to -8) or Armor Vantage (any prescription; the lab verifies anything above -10). See smart glasses for high prescriptions.
- Low minus or plus prescriptions: Lyte (-3 to +8 on most frames) and Armor base/Slim (-2 to +8 / +6) cover most of these.
- Progressives: Reebok Optical, Lyte and all three Armor variants. See progressive lenses in smart glasses.
- Astigmatism: Lucyd asks for CYL and AXIS at checkout but publishes no cylinder limit, so ask first. Background: smart glasses for astigmatism.
Test your numbers against each line in the prescription checker (Lyte, Armor base and Reebok Optical).
Reebok Optical: the prescription-first line
Reebok Optical is Lucyd's "prescription-first smart eyewear collection"[1]: Dash, Thunder, Jet and Shine, plus Thunder Slim and Dash Slim, all $249[4]. First frames shipped 27 Apr 2026. They come with blue-light clear lenses, a 12 h battery, 40–43 g, Bluetooth 5.3, any voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, Lucyd AI, ChatGPT) and no camera[1]. Add Rx at checkout "or take your frames to an optical partner"[1].
Stock: Lucyd's help page says four of six frames are in stock and lists Shine as "Available Soon", but the store had Shine, Dash Slim and Thunder Slim available to add to cart on 26 Oct 2026[7]. Reebok Optical prescription page →
Armor Vantage: for prescriptions outside the Armor range
Lucyd says Vantage is for "Wearers with a prescription outside the base Armor range (-2 to +8 SPH)"[2]. Lucyd's wording on the limit varies: "Full range (lab verifies above -10)" in the Rx table[3], "Any prescription (lab verifies above -10)" on the Armor page[1], and "Any prescription (nothing above -10 SPH; lab verifies)" on the Vantage page, last reviewed 26 May 2026[2]. We read that as: above -10, Lucyd's lab has to check your prescription before cutting. Don't assume it will go through.
Safety, for workplace buyers: Vantage is marked "Z87" (basic impact), not Z87+. Armor base and Slim are Z87+ high impact. These ratings apply to plano lenses: ANSI Z87-2 / Z87-2+ prescription qualification "is still in progress across the Armor line"[2]. Vantage ships in stock only with photochromic lenses; custom lenses are ordered from lucyd.co[2]. Armor prescription page →
How ordering works
- Pick your frame on lucyd.co.
- Click "Add Rx Lenses" ("Select Lenses" on Armor).
- Choose the lens type: single vision, progressive, bifocal or reader.
- Choose material or tint: clear, blue-light, Lucyd Shift (photochromic), Blueshift or polarized.
- Enter SPH, CYL, AXIS, ADD (for progressives) and your PD, then order. Lenses ship in up to 10 business days[2].
Before you order: custom lenses are non-refundable, so check your prescription and PD. Lucyd won't cut lenses without a PD and will contact you if it's missing[2].
