Does my prescription fit?

Enter the numbers from your glasses prescription (use the stronger eye). We compare them with each model's published prescription range and with what each lab says it can make. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is sent anywhere.

How the check works

  • We convert your prescription to minus-cylinder form and check both principal meridians (SPH and SPH+CYL) against the published limits. That's slightly conservative.
  • "Total power" ranges (Meta) mean sphere and cylinder combined. Where a brand only states a sphere range, we check sphere and cylinder separately and say when a cylinder limit isn't published.
  • Most labs don't publish a maximum prescription. We mark a lab likely only when it publishes support for the lens type you need and either your power is inside the frame's official range or inside a limit the lab publishes. Otherwise it says ask the lab.
  • Prism: Tajima Direct states that Meta's own prescription service doesn't offer prism; we use that for Meta-brand frames.
  • Data last checked 2026-10-17. Not medical advice; your optician has the final say.
